We met about five years ago when we began working together at a local bar. We became friends and then eventually that friendship grew into more. And now...on May 12th, 2007, we will be married, to our best friend.

We will be getting married at sunset, the twelfth of May, on the beaches of The Reef Resort on Grand Cayman Island. Tiki torches will be lit surrounding a few of our closest friends as the sun goes down and we make our commitment to eachother. We have planned a pretty casual setting. We will both be barefoot in the sand as we exchange vows. The bride will be wearing a backless, silk charmuse, wedding gown and the groom a white open collar shirt and casual slacks. And we expect that our guests will be just as casual and comfortable as us.

Immediately following the ceremony we will begin our island celebration. A buffet of grilled chicken, mahi mahi, ribs, as well as a variety of sides and desserts will be served alongside an open bar and the ocean. Music will be provided by one of the locals playing the steel drum. We will be right next to the pools, hot tubs and the ocean...so if anyone wants to take a swim they are more than welcome. We think that a night of fun, dancing, drinking and laughing with those closest to us under the light of the moon, stars, and tiki torches is the perfect way to spend our first moments as a married couple. When we return home however, we plan on having a 2nd reception to celebrate with all those who could not make it out to the island. Another night of celebration w/ those we care about most.
